i’d like to tell you i’ve been hanging out in all the best places, surrounded by beautiful, um, cakes… but instead i am crazy busy with the kid who has finally outgrown naptime (she has also become toilet-trained, in the same week, so i’m not complaining too much), the kids craft book, the “gilmore girls” dvds, and facebook.

sonya wrote on my wall: “when you don’t update your blog i wonder what you’re eating and if you’re eating at all.”

which is sweet, no? and of course, i have been eating. just a half hour ago i was demolishing a bowl of butterscotch and honeycomb ice cream, with strawberries…

(i love this time of year, when my fridge is full of berries: a punnet and a half of stawberries, two of blueberries, and one of raspberries.)

…and i’ve been making food: spanakopita and wontons and yoghurt cake. stories that i will tell you, one day, soon.

wow. start the day with ragingyoghurt, why don’t you? :)

i have not tried this new incarnation — i think they just dropped the coffee — but i’m sure it will be wonderful. i still have about three cakes lined up that i really want to try. ok, you know i want to try all of them, but three in particular need addressing with some urgency. ;)

sonya! is that too weird? i just needed to link to you, because i really liked your last post, with the mysteries of the lucky dips unveiled.

tian: yep, thas me. sold out appearances all over town. ;)

amber: ha. at the moment, i am leaning towards getting you the lemon creme brioche donut. because i’m so sure it contains a fraction of the fat in a chocolate croissant. plus it’s got fruit in it. :)

You started posting more frequently and then you just went missing.
Of course we need to know what you have been eating.
Facebook has been banned at our work so i don’t go on as much.
