Before this update, ICE, a community arts organisation had had the same logo for about twenty years. It was hand-drawn and lettered, and printed on pastel purpple paper, infused with warm and fuzzy community arts feeling.
Warm and fuzzy n'more. In fact, workshopping the logo led to heated but good natured debate on such issues as "why is there an asterisk?" "why don't we put the words 'information and cultural exhange' on three lines instead of two?" and "why can't we have the 'e' in 'ice' smack bang in the middle of the blue instead of bleeding off the edge lke you've got it? people won't know it's an 'e'" |
