A couple of fun English teacher-education department sorts put on crazy hats and masks after the bell goes, and become Mind's Eye Entertainment, writing songs and stories for schoolkids to perform up on stage.
The idea for the company's mascot was a happy litle dreamer type, shooting for the stars, led by heart and mind. His brain even doubled as a superhero-Zoro type mask. His name came to be Pepe and everyone loved him. And then the doubt crept in. Pepe wasn't quite singy and dancey enough. Maybe he could have a friend, whose name ended up being Sal, who more actively depicted what Mind's Eye actually did. |

A tracksuit and discoball later, there was Sal, who was so effectively singy and dancey that he usurped Pepe's role as Mind's Eye mascot, and will now be the one gracing businesscards, letterhead, website, and tattoos on the shoulders of the hardcore Mind's Eye groupies. |

Which I guess kind of proves that the loud showoff will really get all the attention. Below, the upcoming postcard where Sal hogs the spotlight.
