HI FI DAYS, published in 1997 by Allen & Unwin, is a monograph on three rockin' Australian bands - silverchair, Spiderbait and You Am I - by eminent rock journo Craig Mathieson. Sure. Maybe it was nepotism, but I'd like to think it was sheer talent [and I say this with an uneasy combination of irony and modesty] that got me the gig.
