MONUMENT MAGAZINE
is a bi-monthly 116-page full colour architecture and design magazine. Terraplane bought the magazine off the previous publishers and I got to work on it. This was good because here was a magazine where you didn't have to argue for that unusually large expanse of white space; it was virtually a necessity for this kind of magazine, where punters pay premium price for the "design experience". Anyway, even from a production point of view, the paper is so expensive you probably would want to show it off as much as possible. Subsequently, Monument won an award for best design for a specialist publication at the 1998 Australian Society of Magazine Editors awards.
