filed under around town, ice cream, kid

stuff i might miss over the summer.

we came running down the hill under the harbour bridge, knee-deep (for some of us) in grass, stopping twice for dandelions. we came down over the hill, and we saw the pink and white van.

we may have gone overboard on the sprinkles.

ahh… nothing like those last minutes of airport waitlounge innernet to post comments. 🙂

santos: yeah! but i don’t know if it’s better than any of those shaved ice halohalo type treats you get over in your corner.

tian: thanks! one of the things is a flake, dipped in chocolate and sprinkles with the rest of the cone. the other thing is the kid’s head! 😀

suze: i think you are right. did you see our gingerbread? and would you like me to eat anything in london/paris for ya? 😉

Okay, what? I just clicked that you live in Sydney! It had to take that picture of the kid with the harbour bridge to do it.

But I have a highly attuned radar for anything to do with that city now, having spent a truly gorgeous week there at New Year’s.

I am so very jealous of your fine weather and excellent foodie spots. I had the pleasure of eating at The Book Kitchen, David Jones, Billy Kwong and Tetsuya’s. All amazing. You are so lucky.
